The Garden for Cupid
Address: 675 Ju Lu Rd.
As you know, there are abundant old foreign houses located in Shanghai due to some historical reasons and I would like to introduce you the Garden for Cupid this time.
This beautiful garden was built in 1931 by László Ede Hudec, known as L.E. Hudec, who was definitely a fascinating a Hugarian-Slovak architect active in Shanghai from 1918 to 1945 and responsible for some of that city's most notable structures. He represented this warm garden as a gift to businessman Mr. and Mrs. Liu (Liu Jisheng) to bless their wonderful and romantic love.
The hole garden is the renaissance architecture and owns the sculptors of the princess in Greek and Cupid respectively. It has definitely filled with the romantics until now.
Outstanding job, Sharon! I want to visit Shanghai.
